Frank is founder of Pymwymic, the “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is Community”, headquartered in Amsterdam. Pymwymic pioneered social venture capital in Europe and continues to lead in all building the impact field with new initiatives. In addition to founding Pymwymic, Frank created the ‘Money Meets Ideas’ seed funding platform, is co-founder of SOCAP/Europe, founding member of SVN-Europe, long-term member of Investor’s Circle, serves on several international boards, and continues to Put His Money Where His Mouth Is, as shareholder in and advisor to multiple social enterprises. Margaret McGovern is a partner in Pymwymic and leads outreach initiatives and events, with a special interest in mobilizing women’s investments, cross border efforts, and healthy food systems. Margaret is a serial entrepreneur and previous owner of several media companies. She is a founding member of Women Effects Investments, a founding member of Slow Money (for Slow Food), co-founder of SOCAP/Europe, and early investor in the global Hub social innovation network.
As a Pymwymic associate, Julia assists on legal matters, operations and communication. She started work for pymwymic after doing her masters degree in information law and travelling through southeast Asia for six months.
Bert is responsible for partnership relations and business development. Bert is a graduate from the KaosPilot University, the creative leadership program for social innovation in Denmark. Passionate about cultivating the social enterprise and investment sector of the BeNeLux, Bert also has a deeply rooted love for food and travel.
Jasper is an associate partner at Pymwymic with a focus on new investments and funds. He is also active as an informal investor and transaction advisor. He started his independent business in 2005 after an employment career as investment director at ABN AMRO Capital and, after his graduation from Leiden University, a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
Michiel Huisman is a business consultant in the field of Strategy and Finance. As a graduate from Nyenrode in Financial Management, he has his own consultancy firm. Michiel is involved in several business including working for NGO’s, such as Butterfly Works. He is interested in business modeling, social enterprises and impact investing.
Marijke is responsible for the relations with government and international organizations. She has an international background having lived and worked on different continents. Marijke has an excellent track record of over 25 years working in Marketing, Business Development, Management, and Board positions for national and international corporations, both publicly and privately held. She has a reputation for turning around troubled companies and organizations, making them profitable again. Marijke is a professional business mediator, and still is an expert for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Robin has joined the Pymwymic team to support the daily operations and is responsible for website content. Robin is a graduate from the KaosPilot University, the creative leadership program for social innovation in Denmark. Robin works as an entrepreneur focused on Urban Farming through his company Greenius.
