Outlook from the Amstel
Here on the Amstel, spring has sprung. Blue has won over grey; that first ‘pop’ of colour lifts the spirit; there’s a collective agreement that a new season awaits.
We’re especially feeling spring this year, because we see ‘pops’ of bright hope and colour appearing throughout the impact investing landscape. Globally, COP21 marked a new collective moment, a shared agreement that we are out of stasis and moving forward. Regionally, Europe is putting more money into systemically supporting impact start-ups, and Netherlands will make this an important part of its European presidency.
We here at Pymwymic are in a new season too, stepping forward with a committed group of investors to launch the Pymwymic Impact Investing Cooperative. The energy is buoyant, colour is bright. See you in April.
